From TracMap to Tabula
For 20 years, we’ve been developing technology to help agricultural businesses complete work accurately and keep reliable records of what’s happened in the field.
Our first TracMap devices were installed in 2006, with GPS guidance and mapping technology designed to help agricultural operators know where work had been completed and capture an accurate record of application.
As our technology expanded beyond GPS guidance and mapping, TracMap became Tabula.
Today, Tabula connects people, vehicles, aircraft and work in one place, giving teams greater visibility across their operation and better information from the field.
Built on 20 years of field experience
Our first TracMap devices were installed in 2006, helping agricultural operators use GPS guidance to complete work accurately and capture a reliable record of where product had been applied.
Those foundations remain an important part of Tabula today.
GPS guidance, mapping and proof of application have continued to evolve, alongside a much broader range of tools for managing work across agricultural operations.

If you’ve used TracMap GPS guidance, mapping or in-cab hardware in the past, you’ll now find that technology within the Tabula ecosystem.
Tabula continues to provide purpose-built in-vehicle and in-aircraft technology for agricultural operations, connected with the Tabula platform to help information move between the office and the field.
That means the job, guidance information, progress and completed records can stay connected without relying on disconnected processes to move information between systems.

Why did TracMap become Tabula?
The TracMap name reflected our beginnings in GPS tracking and mapping. As the technology grew beyond those beginnings, we needed a name that could grow with it.
Tabula is inspired by the tabulae used historically to record and share information. The name connects our roots in mapping and record keeping with what we continue to do today: helping field-based businesses capture, connect and use operational information.
Looking for TracMap?
TracMap Online became Tabula Online. Existing Tabula customers can continue to access their account through Tabula Online.
TracMap’s GPS guidance and mapping technology has continued to evolve as part of Tabula’s agricultural and aerial application solutions.
Tabula continues to support current hardware, while older TracMap products may be retired as they reach end of life. Customers are given information and support when products are approaching retirement.
Integrations developed under TracMap have continued under Tabula, alongside new connections that help customers move information between Tabula and the other systems they use.
